"The Occupying Power shall be responsible for the welfare of children, the maintenance of the medical and health services, and the feeding of the population."

The Geneva Conventions on Human Rights, 1949

Since the beginning of the second Intifada, one of the only Israeli organizations continuing to operate in the Occupied Territories is Physicians for Human Rights - Israel.

Established in 1988, PHR-Israel is dedicated to promoting and protecting the medical human rights of all residents of the Occupied Territories. Their main project is the On-Site Mobile Clinic that provides medical care to people in the Occupied Territories who have no access to health services.

Every Saturday, together with doctors from Palestinian medical organizations, they conduct free examinations and distribute medicine and baby formula. The doctors say they do this to show their solidarity with Palestinian physicians and to express their opposition to the Israeli Occupation.

The film follows their physical journey crossing checkpoints and opening temporary clinics in remote villages as well as the emotional journey, asking questions about terror, fears, identity and the struggle to attract public attention in a country where most of the people lost their hope for peace.
